I no longer have time or interest in working on this Prelude, so I’m going to put it up for sale as is later this month. It doesn’t run. It hasn’t run since 2016. I don’t think it would take a lot to get it to run, but I need the space and could use the money for my other projects. Just need to gather the spare parts for it and up it’ll go on Craigslist.

1991 Prelude Si, 2WS, 5-speed. Last ran in 2016, needs IACV rewired/fixed and battery cables reattached. When it ran it had some other weird electrical issues, like the brake lamp indicator would say that a brake light was out when they were all working. Has 150k miles, on its second engine, which does smoke a bit when started after sitting for awhile. Passenger’s side quarter panel has some rust, driver’s side quarter panel around the trunk has a dent where a bike wheel randomly fell on it in the garage. I’m sure there’s some other stuff that I can’t remember right now that I’ll remember when I go over it some more next week. I’ll be asking $500, located outside Richmond VA.

Now I am very interested. Not sure how I would get it from R ichmond to Louisville, yet. And I would like to see the extent of rust, whenever you get the car pulled out. Could/will make a fun car for the weekends, compared to my Prius.... Gonna start looking into trucks/trailers for rent, etc. It’s not an AW11, but just as cool.

No problem. I need to figure out where I’d put my Fiero, which also doesn’t run. while getting the Prelude out. I’ll get photos next week.

I recently gave up on Fieros. That last 88 GT should have been scrapped. The amount of money I put into them over last 20 years is insane. I could have a really nice house lol.

Haha, mine is actually an 88 GT which should probably be scrapped. It’s at the point where I got another project car to work on to make sure I’m not over my head getting into it.

I got mine to the point of start, stop, steer. It barely run, probably needed a tune up bad. In about 2 weeks I pu t a steering column in it, new brake lines, a crap battery tray, fuel pump, and put the engin e together and it sparked to life first crank. Then r ealized another Fiero w as a bad idea and sold it for what I had in it. About 700. It needed paint, roof, a lot of lights, tires brakes, lots of interior work. Some rust repair. Yeah, not for me anymore.
The misses did say Prelude is a GO! She has a thing for 80's and early 90's cars. Was looking for a truck. Guess the idea of a fu n weekend car appealed a bit more, lol. Just need a few more pictures to get her 100% on board.

Mine was free, belonged to my friend’s uncle who died a couple years ago. His daughter was selling all his stuff and was going to give the car to my friend, but he has nowhere to put it, so he offered it to me. It needs pretty much everything.
Sounds good. I’ll get some pics ready within the next week.
